How To Make Dill Pickles

Boil jars and lids for 15 minutes.

Pack jars with cucumbers.

Add dill and two cloves of garlic.

Make a brine:

  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 cups of vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of salt

Boil and then simmer until needed.

Add brine to jars.

Leave 1/2″ headroom.

Clean rims and add lids.

Put in water bath for 15 minutes.

Allow to cool for 48 hours.

Store for months.
